Above are three pictures I have taken this winter. The bottom was taken at Santa Monica pier on Christmas day. My family and I have been going to the beach on Christmas for the past couple of years. The two images above the beach shot were taken while I was driving on the freeway. I always have my camera with me and I usually take pictures when the weather is pleasant, but the pouring rain intrigued me. As I drove into Downtown, the weather had miraculously cleared up. It is still raining today, but rain is good. We live in a desert and are in a drought after all. We need this rain and as wet and inconvenient as it may be, we should appreciate it.
